Learn to play the guitar

From whence I was a kid, I have always wanted to play a musical instrument. But music classes were very expensive then. Especially when you were/are one of seven kids.

So when I finally found my footing and was able to save up... enough for a $45 per hour guitar lesson, I went for my first half hour class on the 25 March 2010. The classical guitar that I brought with me was a gift from my mom for my 25 birthday.

And I loved it.
I learned how to play scales and practiced until the tips of my fingers were so sore that it took a couple of days to heal. I went the week after and then continued to go once every fortnight until the 30 October 2010 when the guitar savings ran out.

Once I get the chance, I will buy myself guitar books and learn more chords, strumming techniques and scales.

What I love about this 104 is that I can come home from a long day at work and play my heart out. I also taught my sister what I knew and she is seriously so good at the guitar and learned a whole caboodle of songs from Youtube.

Thanks Daz for being such an inspiring and patient teacher. Because of you, I have achieved my childhood dream of being a guitarist...
