We were starving by the time we reached our destination (about 1.30pm). It's good that everything is so strategically placed in Mandurah. There is a visitor centre right outside the train station and the lady there recommended fish and chips at Ninos.

We had missed the free mini transit bus into the city but thankfully the next one was only 20 minutes away (considering it was a Sunday and buses are usually less frequent). But our tummies were really grumbling by then.
And as soon as we reached the city, we went straight to get some feed. Lunch could not be any more satisfying. Fresh fish and chips, pepsi
cuz they didn't have coke, live acoustic music and the view of the foreshore in front of us.

We went to the art gallery and spent a good hour there.

Just 45 minutes by train each way and on the way back, we played cards. Before we knew it, we were back. The trip was just what I needed - my lil getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Okay, I admit... we had ice-cream at Simmos. It was hard to resist with the gentle warmth of the autumn afternoon. Next time, I'm going to drive down to Mandurah and go on a boating adventure!
