We formed groups of four and the three peeps on the left below are my team mates. Go team! The girl with the black jacket was doing a feet count of the distance between the two balls closest to the Jack (white ball aka. target ball)
Here is a show of the first ball that I threw...Yeah, not quite there yet.
Lawn bowling has proved itself (to me) to be a great activity for a day of fun in the sun. I like it better than ten-pin bowling. You get to soak in the sun, relax, have a good laugh with your friends and have some friendly competition. Perfect for us new-age nanas!
